Superfraiche alum Reni Lane is gearing up to release her much-anticipated debut CD "Ready" in the next few weeks. Lead single taken from that record is the fantastic "Place For Us" that I previously dubbed 2010's freedom anthem with its uplifting, all-inclusive lyrics. You may have heard the song played on KCRW or on VH1 hit series, Secret of Aspen.
Reni has been zigzagging the West Coast to show fans her outstanding pop-rock chops after playing my Superfraiche showcase in Los Angeles during GRAMMY Week, She's such an excellent live performer with loads of energy. Plus, her rocky band mates do a great job accentuating her spunky style.
After Monsieur Adi's spectacular remix of "Place for Us," producer Will Eastman takes the song to whole new level. Eastman includes a lot of new effects that take the listeners on an intense sonic journey while always maintaining the quality and message of the original. Well done.
