"Jake, sting me like a bee!"

Kylie Minogue, Jake Shears and Ana Matronic got their falsetto on this weekend when the Aussie pop singer joined their friends of Scissor Sisters for their headlining gig at the annual Glastonbury Festival. Glorious! Together they performed "Any Which Way" that is taken from Scissor Sisters' new album "Night Work" that is out on Tuesday. (Photo by Kevin)

Video Premiere: Scissor Sisters "Fire With Fire"

Check out the brand-new video of Scissor Sisters' much-anticipated new single "Fire With Fire" that received its worldwide premiere at Channel 4 in the U.K. It's an excellent new video for an excellent new single that shows that Scissor Sisters are bigger, better and bolder than ever. I would not be surprised if "Night Works" turns out to be their strongest album to date.

The splendid "Fire With Fire" shines in simplicity with its anthemic, sing-a-long chorus and a very, very pretty middle eight. At times the song's big stadium quality reminds me of The Killers' "Human" and that should come not as a surprise as both tracks were produced by Stuart Price and carry a similar sonic intensity. Do yourself a big favor and pre-order their new album here.

Head over to Scissor Sisters' web site to hear a clip of their brand-new single, titled "Fire With Fire," that is taken from their forthcoming third LP. Judging from the brief clip on the site, "Fire With Fire" is a fresh, crisp summer ditty that comes an incredibly catchy chorus that will have you humming along instantly. Very good. After the phenomenal "Invisible Light," this new track also demonstrates that Scissor Sisters is emerging stronger than ever and has the goods to rule the pop charts again. Look out for the group's new LP "Night Work" on June 28, introduced by the single "Fire with Fire" on June 20.  What do you think of this new track?

Listen to Scissor Sisters "Invisible Light" (Stuart Price Remix)

After working with Scissor Sisters on the production of "Invisible Light," soundboard meister Stuart Price went back to the track to give it a unique spin of his own. Showing off his sizzling disco mojo, Price turns up the nocturnal dancefloor qualities of the original that culminate in a mind-altering climax around the 4:10 minute mark. An epic moment in a blistering, electro-edged piece of work that gives Scissor Sisters fans more, more, more to salivate over. Deliciously good. (What do you think?)
