In related Scissor Sisters news, the group played a special benefit concert on Trafalgar Square last Saturday. The gig was organized by Motorola as part of their Moto Red campaign against AIDS in Africa. Check out some photos from my buddy Kevin Tachman that he made at the event. Incredible shots.
Scissor Sisters showed off more than just their new music at Saturday's Siren Music Festival at Coney Island. Jake ended up prancing around in his red/black Calvin Klein briefs after Ana took off his pants to give him a little bit more room to move. You go-go boy! The guys from Keane have been jetting between Europe and North America to promote the release of "Under The Iron Sea." The trio was at Borders on Columbus Circle in Manhattan last Friday to meet fans, sign CDs, record an interview with VH1, and, most importantly, give an in-store mini concert. British pop duo Bananarama is on a whirlwind tour of the U.S. to promote their comeback album "Drama" that was released last Tuesday. Sara and Keren are visiting Borders book stores in Miami, New York City, Hollywood, Long Beach and West Hollywood this week to meet fans and sign their album(full schedule).
