Joe Jonas may give Justin Timberlake (who is arguably the last great male pop superstar we've seen in the charts) a run for his money with his much-anticipated forthcoming debut solo CD. I'm not quite sold on the very safe "See No More," but I've heard a couple of songs he wrote and produced with Frankmusik that are a lot more adventurous. Very electro-pop but with a mainstream, top 40 radio appeal. Very good. I'm crossing my fingers that those tracks will make the final album cut.
The singer is flying high in this month's issue of Paper Magazine in which he says about Justin Timberlake, "He's an absolute inspiration, I look up to him so much." In the interview, Jonas also talks a little bit more about his new album and how it will replaces "Jonas Brothers' freshly scrubbed boy-band sound" with a darker, club-ready dance vibe." Get ready to be surprised. (Source)
