Listen to Shakira "She Wolf" (Said Mrad Club Remix)

In an effort to extend the shelf life of Shakira's "She Wolf," Sony Music has released a few brand-new dance remixes of the song. All of the revamps were produced by popular DJs and remixers from Cairo, Beirut and Dubai.  Each has a unique sound, distinct to the origin of the remixer. Check out Said Mrad's remix of "She Wolf." Listen to Morjac and Fred Falke featuring Sarah Tyler "When We're Together"

European dancefloor heroes Fred Falke and Morjac (aka Morten Lambertsen and Jacob Johansen) teamed up with emerging British pop vocalist Sarah Tyler on a brand-new track, titled "When We're Together."

Currently shared among tastemaking club DJs, it's a gentle disco pop gem with an incredibly catchy chorus that will surely go down well in clubs. Falke added his fine French disco touch to the mix with the song's subtle synth flourishes and crisp electro stylings.

The song is getting major support from BBC Radio One jock Pete Tong who has been pushing the song as a major track for the summer. Have a listen.

Felix Da Housecat Hearts Prince

I went over to Felix da Housecat's home a couple of nights ago to meet up with him and MOTOR's Bryan Black. Bryan was in town to record a few final tracks for Felix's new double album.

I previewed a bunch of his new songs and it sounds very, very good. Punchy electro-house with big, atmospheric highs and soulful lows. Felix has such a great ear for new sounds. It's no surprise that the two time GRAMMY nominee is such an icon among dance music lovers.

One of the songs that immediately stood out to me is a track titled "We All Wanna Be Prince." It's a funked up dance jam with lyrics that are cut and pasted from difference Prince songs. Felix is "the number one" Prince fan and this is his tribute to the Minneapolis master. He confided that he previewed the track to Mark Ronson and Dallas Austin as well and they both loved it.

Also look out for the first single off this new double record. The track's video features the crazy fun and over-the-top American Apparel heir, Johnny Makeup.

Muscles Remixes M.I.A. "Hombre"

Australian DJ Muscles went through his big vault and dug up his remix of M.I.A.'s "Hombre" that he completed in 2005 "way before most you fan boys/girls had heard of her," he writes on his blog. Glad this remix is finally seeing the light of day. It is a really fun, kicky electro remix of M.I.A.'s spunky original.
Get the remix here.
