Vanbot Premieres Video for New Single 'Hold This Moment' [First Look]
January 28, 2013
Vanbot first popped on to the pop scene back in 2011 when she released her self-titled debut album in Sweden that quickly got her noticed internationally. Following the viral success of tracks like "Make Me, Break Me" and "Lost Without You," the Swedish songstress was hailed as Robyn's little sister serving up a steamy hot brew of synth-driven melodies and infectiously catchy grooves. Apart from performing at Austin's South by Southwest, Vanbot (aka Ester Ideskog) spent most of her time in 2012 writing and recording new music. This week, she unveiled the video for her brand-new single "Hold This Moment" that gives us some firm clues about the music she has been working on. According to a press statement, Isdekog's new music is "dark and brooding" but this new single is most certainly not an abrupt departure from Vanbot's signature sound we have come to love and appreciate so much. Highly recommended.
