The new year starts out on a high note with the unveiling of "This Life" by pop newcomer Josef Salvat. Currently based in London, Salvat is an Australian singer/songwriter who has been stirring up interest allover the British capital and is now ready to take his music to more people with the premiere of "This Life." It's a gorgeous, hopeful tune that is ruled by a shimmering downbeat groove and a glorious melodic hook with vivid cinematic flourishes that Lana Del Rey would salivate over. (Very little information is available about Salvat, so for now I will let the music do most of the talking. Enjoy!)
