Diamond Rings' current hit single, "I'm Just Me," marks a bold artistic step forward for the Canadian alt-pop crooner. The song introduces a bigger, more polished sound (courtesy of GRAMMY-nominated producer Damian Taylor) and a dashing visual aesthetic that combines futuristic fashion with proper retro stylings that includes just the right amount of pop.
I saw the singer perform at the Variety Playhouse late last month and was impressed by his energetic live show that showcased his growing confidence as a showman while also highlighting his evolving brand of pop. (Read my entire review of the show on GRAMMY.com.)
