Hot New Pop Alert: Windsor Drive 'I Don't Feel It' [Download Free MP3]

Pop newcomers Windsor Drive took their band name from the street in a small Wisconsin town where they started out recording and playing as a band. Far from the glam and glitter of the big city, the group of Kipp Wilde (vocals, keys), Owen Jones (drums), Daniel Sukow (guitar) and Jon Wasleske (bass) developed a synth-driven pop rock sound that's a whole lot more exuberant than their modest surroundings may lead you to believe. For their forthcoming new EP, titled "Wanderlust," the group ventured out to Los Angeles, Nashville and New York to work on new music. They ended up working with people like John Fields (Jonas BrothersSam Sparro, Miley Cyrus) and songwriter Bleu (Selena Gomez) who helped Windsor Drive further tune their developing brand of pop. The lead single from "Wanderlust," titled "I Don't Feel It," is a great example of that. Paced by a steady kickdrum, throbbing synths and Wilde's pitch-perfect falsetto, the song is a slick and polished tune that packs plenty of pop and heaps of potential.
