[REMIX] Listen To The Knocks "Brightside" (Fred Falke Remix)

A little over a month ago, ArjanWrites.com reviewed and gave out a guilt-free MP3 of The Knocks' newest single "Brightside." Now, the group has commissioned a number of excellent remixes of their brand new hit. To the pleasure of many music fans all over, the group asked house music maestro Fred Falke to serve up his own version of “Brightside” and Falke delivers with another classic rendition of his French Touch sound. Falke, who isk nown for his production work with Alan Braxe and fellow up-and-comer Florrie, was the perfect go-to man for The Knocks’ funk-infused sound.

With its violin stabs, sidechained synths and filtered vocals, Falke’s disco inspired sound gives The Knocks’ newest single a fresh up-tempo vibe perfect for the New York clubscene the band frequents. Running in at over seven minutes long, Falke ups the energy with his four-to-the-floor kick while simultaneously keeping the funkiness of the original intact. The driving bass and striking super-saw synths (both Falke trademarks) are more than worthy of jumpstarting a dance party not unlike the one witnessed at the end of video for the single version. Check out the remix below. (Post contributed by ArjanWrites.com new dance music contributor Steve Siegel.)
