Last week, I hosted the inaugural ARTIST #TALK with special guest Tinie Tempah in New York City. Set in a gorgeous penthouse in lower Manhattan with beautiful views of the city, British superstar Tinie Tempah shared some very candid insights and intimate details about his music and meteoric rise to fame. 

Produced in close partnership with HP, I conceived ARTIST #TALK as a platform for artists to talk about their inspirations, creativity and artistry in front of a live audience. The featured artist also plays a few tracks from a recent project and provides in-depth commentary about each song. Audience members are also invited to participate in the conversation to create a unique, interactive environment.

In this very first ARTIST #TALK, Tinie talked candidly about his London childood, his Nigerian roots, building a scene around his music and his success up until now. I played a few of his tracks from an HP TouchSmart with Beats Audio technology to learn more about what inspired each song.
