After appearing on tracks like Britney Spears' "Drop Dead Gorgeous" and Cobra Starship's "You Make Me Feel," New York MC and singer Sabi is coming on strong with her very own "Wild Heart."
Part ballad and part dancefloor shaker, the song is a crunchy, yet gentle dubstep-inspired production that prominently features Sabi's sugar-coated vocal harmonies. This tune has hit, hit, hit written all over it and captures exactly what pop audiences have a huge appetite for right now.
Sabi first emerged on the pop scene in the 2009 when production team The Co-Stars was looking to work with a female duo for Warner Brothers Records. Sabi teamed with pal Ella Ann to form The Bangz, but after Ella Ann fell critically ill their collaboration ended abruptly after only releasing two buzz singles.
With the support of her record label, Sabi plotted a solo career and has been working in the studio with a fine group of writers and producers to tune a unique sound of her own that incorporates both her strength as an MC and vocal abilities. Hitmakers like Benny Blanco, The Cataracs, Diplo and Klas from the Teddybears have all been working with Sabi on tracks for her forthcoming debut album.
This new "Wild Heart" was produced by The Dream Machine, the aptly titled production group who also produced Britney Spears' "Seal It With A Kiss" and the pop star's "Till The World Ends" remix featuring Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj. With their finger tightly on the pulse of what happening in popular music right now, The Dream Machine delivers a potent, hit-ready tune that will likely push Sabi into the spotlight and up the charts. Listen to it after the break.
