Remember Chris Richardson? Yes, exactly. That Chris Richardson. The one who was a finalist on season six of American Idol and kept getting compared to Justin Timberlake. After getting voted out (too soon), the soul pop crooner joined the extensive America Idol tour and started work on a solo album that finally may be released later this year.
Richardson steps back into the spotlight with his feature on Tyga's new single "Far Away," performing the tune's heartfelt vocal hook. Tyga is one of the latest up and comers in Cash Money's seemingly endless stall of artists that also includes Nicki Minaj, Kevin Rudolf, Drake and Hot Boys.
The video for "Far Away" tells a tragic and sad story about having a falling out with someone you love and not having the opportunity to make up and be at peace with the situation. It's a pretty catchy tune that reminds us that Chris Richardson has some chops and should hurry up and get his solo album out. Watch the video after the break.
