On the eve of his trip back to his new home in Los Angeles, I caught up with Graffiti6's Jamie Scott in London to chat about his American adventure and more.
Jamie is the singing half of emerging new U.K. soul-pop duo Graffiti6 that he established together with producer Tommy D back in 2009. (You may remember that I first alerted you to the group almost two years ago when they were still unsigned.)
Graffiti 6 released their debut single "Star Into The Sun" in 2009 in Europe and the group is now focusing on invading America with the full support of Capitol/EMI. The duo's debut EP "Annie You Save Me" is available now and their full-length album "Colors" is expected late 2011/early 2012.
In our video interview, Jamie discusses his chemistry with Tommy, his soul and folk inspirations and sharing his intensely personal songs on stage. He also talks about what it's like to live in Los Angeles and what it means to him to have a real shot at success in Amerca. Fun interview! (Thanks for taking the time, Jamie)
