Free MP3 Download: The Good Natured "Skeleton" (NF55 & Adeptus Remixes)

To celebrate the release of their new EP, British "dark pop" trio The Good Natured is giving away two very special remixes of their new single "Skeleton." Download N55's melo-trance revamp that comes with a punchy dubstep twist (my favorite), and Adeptus' slow-churning new interpretation that has an eerie and menacing quality to it.

"Skeleton" is the title track of the group's new EP that will be released in the U.K. on June 20 and also includes their previous single "Wolves." Both these tracks were produced by the very talented soundboard meister Patrick Berger who previously produced Robyn's "Dancing On My Own."

As I wrote before, The Good Natured's new EP neatly spotlights Sarah MacIntosh's development as a songwriter. The new music displays her mature command of serious pop music infused with sensual and emotional content that drives her lyrics.

Case in point is "Skeleton." It packs a raw passion with its frenetic rhythm section and glossy chorus that is nothing less than sheer brilliance. The song describes the experience of giving up and letting go, taking off your mask and protection, leaving you with nothing to hide. "Rip it all off, give it all you got," she chants. It's a perfect balance between sweet and crunchy. It's pop you gotta chew on to get the full flavor.
