Swedish synth pop duo Lo-Fi-Fnk first captured our imagination with songs like "Stepping Out," "Adore" and "Wake Up" back in 2006. Both tracks were taken from their debut record "BoyLife" that was filled with catchy indie pop gems. Now, more than four years later, August and Leo return with two brand-new glittery, disco jams that will be released on Moshi Moshi records on September 20 in Europe (digitally and on 7" vinyl). Listen to the new track "Sleepless" below.
Slightly left-field, both tracks perfectly demonstrate the guys' knack for crafting melodic, kicky pop that has a bit of crunch to it and is hardly cookie-cutter. Instead, they put together a contemporary and refreshing blend of pop and electro with plenty of indie sensibilities to keep things interesting and noteworthy. Glad they're back.
