The blogosphere is abuzz about forthcoming much-anticipated new albums by pop darlings Robyn, Kylie and Christina. Robyn especially makes the it worth the wait, releasing three new albums this year.
The first of the three, titled "Body Talk Pt 1," will be released in the U.S. on June 15 and will includes more of the "natural pop nous" and cool sassiness we've come to expect from the Swedish pop singer. Check out how her new album art came about in a cool animated video above that was created by llinor Eklund and Bodil Gustafsson Fürst.
Robyn talks in a press release about treating her fans to three albums this year: "I got all these great songs so why not? It’s been 5 years since 'Robyn' and I didn’t want to wait with a release until they are all recorded, so I decided to start putting them out right away. I also can’t wait to play live again and this enables me to tour and record at the same time. I just want to keep making music."
Robyn has worked with producers Diplo, Royksopp, Kleerup and Klas Ahlund on this new effort. Tracklisting for "Body Talk Pt 1" is as follows:
