V V Brown is starting to generate some massive buzz in the U.S. after her debut album "Travelling Like The Light" went to number one overseas. She has been playing a few intimate showcases for industry insiders and people are very impressed. "She's like Beyonce meets Amy Winehouse," somebody wrote me who saw her this week.
Listen to an excellent remix of her U.S. lead single "Shark In The Water" that Todd Edwards produced. He cut up the original, re-wrote the arrangement, added a kicky beat but kept V V's soulful delivery intact. Such a great tune.
