Le Corps Mince De Francoise (which translates to The Skinny Body of
Francoise in French) consists of sisters Emma and Mia Kemppainen and Malin
Nyqvist. After hitting the indie scene with their debut "Bitch Of The Bitches," these fine Finnish ladies are gearing up to release their new single "Something Golden" on Kitsune Records in December as part of the Maison Kitsune 8 compilation.
The track is taken from their debut LP "Love & Nature" that the electro girl group produced with Kaiku Studios Berlin (who also worked with Annie), M.I.A. and Major Lazers' right-hand-man Switch who is currently also working on Christina Aguilera's next album.
Check out the brand-new video for "Something Golden" that was directed by Matt Amato and shot in Los Angeles. The song is a crunchy, synth-blazing alt-pop gem that has a catchy, hypnotic quality to it with its jungle beats and howling chorus. Perfect fare for electro hipsters and new pop mavens. Keep your eye on Le Corps de Mince Francoise. They may be one of the hottest new things to break in 2010.
