Example Releases New Single "Watch The Sun Come Up"

It's not pop. It's not rap. It's something very fresh in between.

British rapper Example returns with "Watch The Sun Come Up," a track that is decidedly more gentle and pop-oriented than his previous work. With the exception of "So Many Roads" that includes a sweet Carpenters sample.

Example's raps are still laser sharp and his perceptive take on life is still intact. The difference however is that he has chosen the talents of pop superproducer Brian Rawlings to put together some of the melodies and beats on this new effort to create a catchy mash of pop, rap and a hint of electronica. (Rawlings is, of course, known for his work with Britney Spears and Mizz Kylie.)

"Watch The Sun Come Up" is a song about the ultimate summer romance. He says,"everyone has had a holiday romance, a holiday fling, one night stand - whatever you wanna call it. There's something about sunsets and beaches though that make you think you're in love - when you're probably not."

Wow. Never seen rap from the UK but this is quite good, and a newer fresher style. But even better, I really like the music video. Crazy cool switches from sketch to real life, in line with the beat. The beat is so different, like a pop almost, just not used to it. But I like the newer style.
