Black Eyes Peas "The E.N.D." ("The Energy Never Dies") is one of the most anticipated new albums of the year. After selling millions and millions of records around the word, Will.I.Am and his comrades were challenged to once again bring a kicky hybrid of pop and hip hop to the masses. With "Boom Boom Pow" an incredible success, the group can feel confident fans will once again embrace this upcoming new LP.

In an interview with Billboard this week, Will.I.Am explains that the sound of "The E.N.D."  was inspired by the time he spent in Australia last year filming his first major movie role, the mutant John Wraight in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." During down-time from the set, the Peas' front man used his time off to check out Sydney's nightlife where he soaked up the European-style dance and electro that ruled the dancefloor.

"The youth in those clubs are pumping a whole different thing," Will.I.Am explains to Billboard. "It felt like hip hop 199, 1990, 1992. But they are not rapping. It's all beats. I came back just buzzing."

To help them shape this new electro-styled sound, the Black Eyes Peas enlisted people like MSTRKRFT and David Guetta to help them produce "The E.N.D." One of the song that combines The Peas' freeflowing, carefree lyrics and Guetta's tight production skills is the anthem "I Gotta Feelin'." Excellent, radio-friendly track. Supercatchy. This will surely rule the charts later this year.

Cute, definitely Euro, yet a bit boring and too light after Boom Boom Pow.

the music is not bad, but its lyrically repetitive and doesnt really have any great hooks in it.
