Listen to The Killers "Shadowplay"

Listen to The Killers' cover of the Joy Division classic "Shadowplay." The group recorded the song for the soundtrack for the movie "Control" that is a biopic film about the late Ian Curtis (1956-1980), lead singer of Joy Division. It is pretty tight cover with a raging bass line and Flowers' distinct, breakable vocals.

This new Killers track will also be  included on "Sawdust," a collection of the group's B-side tracks that will be in stores on November 13. In related Killers news, singer Brandon Flowers told Billboard Magazine that an all-new Killers album is scheduled for a fall 2008 release.

And who wouldn't be obsessed with Brandon Flowers and his glittery silver wild west outfits. Sigh.

This song is absolute rubbish. I didn't like The Killers and dislike them even more now. All I can say is that I hope the songs in the new movie are actual Joy Division songs or we are in for a long, long movie.
