Audio: Arjan Interviews Róisín Murphy (Part 2 of 5)

In the second part of my five part interview series with Róisín Murphy, the singer talks more the places that inspired her new album and about the visual aspect of her craft and the (public) scrutiny that goes along with it. (Click here if you missed Part One.)

Not only did Róisín work with a diverse group of writers and producers on "Overpowered," but she also traveled to places like Miami, Las Vegas and Philadelphia to record different pieces of it. In this next clip, I asked her if these places inspired her.  She specifically talks about "hedonistic" and swinging Barcelona that inspired "Let Me Know," her current single.

The singer has made a name for herself for her edgy sense of fashion. I inquired her about the importance of the visual aspect to her work and the public opinion that goes along with it.
