Arjan Interviews Annie Lennox (Part 1 of 4)

I had the opportunity to talk with Annie Lennox on the phone yesterday and ask her a few questions related to her sublime new album "Songs of Mass Destruction" that is available in stores today.

I only had ten minutes with her so I had to switch between topics quickly, which prevented me from really diving deep into her new music and inspirations. Nonetheless, every minute spent with her was absolutely great.  A big thank you to Sam and Vanessa for setting up the interview for ArjanWrites.com.

After Annie and I chatted about making music videos and superheroes, the singer shared her deep concern about the state of the world we live in. Full audio streaming below. More audio clips of the interview will follow in the next few days. (If the flash player is not working for some reason, click here to stream it in your Window Media player.)

(I included her greeting to show authenticity, plus I get a kick out of hearing Annie Lennox saying my name - and pronouncing it correctly.)

I am really enjoying the new album. Jealous that you got to meet her too!
