There were two gigs that really blew me away on the first day of Coachella. One of them was Peaches in the Outdoor Theatre. Amazing! This chick knows how to rock out and turned up the heat with her crazy fun mix of rap, rock and electronica. She started out in style with Europe's "The Final Coundown" and her lightsaber routine. She then jumped on the drum set and kicked off with the notorious lyrcis from "Fuck And Kill.""Let’s face it, we all want tush. If I’m wrong. Impeach my bush," she chanted, which went over very well with the crowd. Kudos to her drummer who kept the pace steady and strong.
Peaches was supported on keys by DJ JD Samson who wore her rainbow triangle with pride.
