Free Download: Zero 7 "Left Behind" (feat. José González)

Zero7

Listen to the pretty, lo-fi "Left Behind" by eclectic duo Zero 7 that features Swedish singer/songwriter José González on vocals. The track will appear on Zero 7's new album "The Garden" (with gorgeous album art) that is due out on June 6 and also features guest vocalist Sia on 6 tracks. In an interview with Alex Robertson, the duo of Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns explain that they set out "to make [The Garden] a little bit more fundamental, more basic, in a way to simplify things." González' crooning is very fitting for Zero 7's downtempo and lush productions. Download Zero 7 "Left Behind" (feat. José González) or try it out first:

I like the album artwork a lot! The concept is very cool...although the font throws me. Not as sophisticated as it should be.

I love this song! Wish it was longer than 1:17, though.

I just can't get enough of Jose-he is brilliant and I liken his music/lyrics/voice to so many other bands/people that'll just list a few- Counting Crows,Cat Stevens,Crash Test Dummies,Pete Murray,Something For Kate,John Denver,Pearl Jam-early days,Matchbox 20,David Gray-I'll shush now,as I said I could just go on and on.Why is he not in the charts? Thankyou all. Karen-Australia.
