New Apple Commercial Features Caesars

Sweden's Caesars

In a time of dwindling record sales, licensing music for commercial use is still a very profitable business for record labels. Astralwerks is  boasting Apple's announcement to license the track "Jerk It out" from Caesars for their new iPod Shuffle commercial. A nice career booster for the power pop foursome from Sweden. We all know what happened to Jet after they appeared in an iPod commercial.

The quirky "Jerk It Out" is a potent slice of infectious '60 era garage rock with contemporary pop grooves that garnered Caesars countless fans and two Gold Records back in Sweden. The song is taken from their album "39 Minutes of Bliss (In An Otherwise Meaningless World)". The band is planning to release a new album this Spring.
