After producing the successful "New Sound Theory" chill out compilation series, Atlanta's James and DeAnna Cool released their own music as the group Madison Park earlier this year. Reminiscent of Everything But The Girl and Dubstar, the duo's debut album "Boutique" is a mix of sophisticated house beats and sleek pop tunes with DeAnna on vocals and husband James on keys.

Madison Park's latest single "Ocean Drive" [MP3] is remixed by Lenny B. who previously remixed Britney Spears ("Toxic" and "Outrageous"), Cher ("Different Kind Of Love Song") and others. Lenny has turned the timid album version of "Ocean Drive" into a driving house anthem.

This tune is not about communicating some lofty message or big idea. As the title implies, "Ocean Drive" is all about creating a stylish, pastel-colored ambiance that invokes memories of South Beach and will surely put you in a good mood. What I particularly like about this mix is that Lenny B. has managed to keep the loungy feel of the original intact, which makes this remix both breezy and fun.
