Fraiche MP3 Download: Private "Secret Lover" (Juxx Remix)
Private hasn't released any new material in a while, but the Danish pop sensation keeps on dropping new remixes once in a while. Yum. Thanks for that. Download Juxx's revamp of Private's poptastic first single "Secret Lovers." It's a funked up electro work out with a little bit of a hip hop flavor towards the end. Fear not. It works. Tres groovy. (Thanks to Thomas for always sharing the good stuff.)

New Private Remixes
Thomas from popstastic Danish outfit Private snuck a couple remixes to me via email last night that are now posted on the group's blog. The first one is a burpy, blazing house remix of "My Secret Lover" by Electromasterz. The second remix is an propulsive progressive house stomper with a nice electro breakdown by Michael Edit. Enjoy, folks.

Exclusive Video Premiere: Private "Killer On The Dancefloor"
Private, Denmark's finest electro-pop trio, is back with a video for their brand-new single "Killer On The Dancefloor." The video was directed by Kristian Hoeck and produced by Zentropa. Together they created the perfect, creepy visual aesthetic for the song's mysterious and killer hooks that are just oh-so poptastic. (Thanks to the band for giving ArjanWrites.com the first look.)

Listen to Destronics vs. Private "Killer"
Destronics are electro-rockers Patrice and Quentin who are based Lyon, France. The two recently produced a steaming hot remix of Private's poptastic "Killer On The Dancefloor that is taken from the Danish trio's debut LP "My Secret Lover." There's not much other Private news to report at this time while many fans are anxiously awaiting the release of the trio's record stateside. To listen to Destronics' remix, head over to their Facebook page and scroll down a little to hear it in the music player.

Video Premiere: Private "We Got Some Breaking Up To Do"
Major. Pop. Hotness. Yum.
I think that's a good way to describe Private's brand-new video for "We Got some Breaking Up To Do." Shining in simplicity, the video proves that all you need is a smoke machine, an old-timer car, an enigmatic frontman and some funky dance moves to put together a kick ass video. Private is major. Time for Troelsen and his gang to head to the States soon. (Thanks to Mr. Troelsen himself for the heads up.)

Video Premiere: Private "Crucify My Heart"
Goth meets Europop on this brilliant new video for Private's "Crucify My Heart." I love how the fierce Jennifer Hudson lookalike suddenly appears out of nowhere and the trio's dance moves are priceless.
The group's last single "My Secret Lover" went straight to number one in Denmark and this new track will likely be another big smash in the charts. This song in particular reminds me a lot of sweet '80s tunes from artists like Scritti Politti and Jermaine Stewart. Excellent stuff.
Plans are made for a release of Private's debut album in the United States in 2008, so hang tight for that. For more background information about the Danish trio, go here. Brent let me know you can the album at cd-wow.com if you can't wait for a proper U.S. release.
(Thank you Aymarius and Brent for the correction.)

Listen to New Private "We Got Some Breaking Up To Do"
Everybody's buzzing about Private.
Check out "We Got Some Breaking Up To Do," another mighty fine and delicious pop ditty from the Danish trio. It features more of Thomas Troelsen's '80s throwback vocals, quirky sound effects and swirling synth riffs.
The track is taken from the group's debut album "My Secret Lover" that is out in Danish record stores now.
With the global demand for the group increasing, the big question is when Universal plans to release the CD in other countries. Currently, the record is exclusively available for purchase in Danish (download) stores (like here and here), but only in DRM-protected WMA format.
This is one of those cases that big record labels simply don't get it. If the demand is out there, simply make it available digitally. Minimal effort for them, maximum satisfaction for music lovers. Plus, it will limit the illegal downloading that they are so worried about. (A big thank you to Thomas for allowing me to share this track on ArjanWrites.com.)
