And the Winner of the MTV Logo NewNowNext ArjanWrites International Award Is...

Thanks to all of you for voting, voting, voting. Thousands and thousands of you voted for one of the artists that I nominated for the ArjanWrites Award. It was a very close race, but there can only be one winner. Watch the video to see who one.

Watch the MTV Logo Awards Tonight

Don't forget to tune in to the MTV Logo Awards tonight to find out who the winner is of the MTV Logo ArjanWrites International Award. Nominated are Empire of the Sun, VV Brown, Little Boots, Patrick Wolf, Frankmusik and Ladyhawke. I will reveal the winner tonight on ArjanWrites.com at 9:00 pm ET. Brief Report from MTV Logo Awards 2009

I'm heading to the airport and don't have time to write up a full report, but the MTV Logo Awards last night was a blast. Walked the Red Carpet with Superfraiche performer Kate Havnevik. So much fun. We did a bunch of TV interviews including an interview for the MTV pre-show and the interviewer named us the "best-looking prom couple of the night." Very well put. Show was excellent. Loved the Morningwood and Paradiso Girls performances. Great energy. Britney ended up accepting her award through sattelite.

I presented the MTV Logo ArjanWrites Award at the after-party, which airs on June 13th. Can't reveal the winner until then. Voting for the winner is closed now.

Will post photos and video when I return home and have time to upload and such.

Today is the Day! MTV Logo Awards! Superfraiche Interviews!

You can't really tell what's going on here yet, but that are the makeshift MTV production offices for tonight's MTV Logo Awards at Hiro Ballroom, part of the hip and happening Maritime Hotel in the Meatpacking district.

I arrived in New York City last night for tonight's MTV Logo Awards where I will present the ArjanWrites Awards for Best International Artist. So much fun! I will be walking the Red Carpet tonight together with a very special international artist and a Superfraiche headliner... Miss Kate Havnevik.

Doing a lot of press today for Superfraiche as well. Out Magazine, XM Radio,  East Village Radio, Time Out and probably Billboard as well. It's my first club night and I'm so excited people want to hear and talk about it. Hope you can all make it on June 10. Tomorrow, MTV is taping its annual MTV Logo Awards at the fabulous Hiro Ballroom in New York City. Many GLBT celebs and their friends will be attending including Vanessa Williams, Lance Bass, Robert Verdi, Wendy Williams, Lisa Lampinelli, Kate Havnevik and Cheyenne Jackson.

Hosted by RuPaul, the show will feature special performances by Morningwood, The Fire and Reason, RuPaul and Jeffery Self & Cole Escola. Britney Spears is rumored to attend to receive the "Always Next, Forever Now" Award.

The show is taped tomorrow and will air on MTV Logo and Logoonline.com on June 13. I'm thrilled to be part of the show again. This year, I will be walking the Red Carpet with a very special date. More about that later.

Arjan Interviews Little Boots

I had a fun little chat with emerging electro-pop sensation Little Boots last week. We chatted about her nomination for the MTV Logo ArjanWrites Award (her very first American award nod!) and her love for the gays.
