This Is So Good: Watch Beautiful Small Machines "Simple Joys"

Beautiful Small Machines craft some of the finest synth pop melodies that I've heard in a long, long time. The duo of Bree Small and Don Dilego like to refer to their sound as "retro future," a combination of contemporary production stylings with classic singer/songwriter sensibilities.  Watch the video of their most recent single, "Simple Joys," which features the vocals of Bree and Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon. It's delicate, heartfelt and oh-so mesmerizing. The song is taken from BSM's EP "The Robots In Love." Beautiful Small Machines will playing my Superfraiche Pop Night on Friday at Webster Hall in New York.
