Frequent readers of this blog may remember that I first introduced you to Peter Thomas back in 2011 when I posted his remixes of Miguel and Britney Spears. Since then, the 22 year-old songwriter/producer has attended the Berklee College of Music and continued crafting more remixes while also creating his own original productions. Most notably, he produced Betty Who's brilliant debut EP that shows us exactly why he's such an exceptional talent.

Thomas just unleashed a brand-new remix of Phoenix's "Entertainment," the first single taken from the French outfit's highly-anticipated new album. He gives the track a unique twist of his own without straying too far the original. Thomas incorporates squiggly synths and a splashy, revamped chorus that neatly amplifies the song's melodic pop sensibilities. The remix soars high into the sky right at the 3:15 minute with a very pretty extended outro.

This remix is a very accomplished piece of work that is more proof that Peter Thomas is one of pop's biggest new promises. With his knack for melody and innovative soundboard savvy, I have no doubt that he'll be crafting mega hits someday soon (in fact, look for a Selena Gomez collaboration very soon). Make sure to follow him on Twitter and tune in to him on SoundCloud.
