Watch Diamond Rings 'I'm Just Me' Behind The Scenes Video [Exclusive]

Diamond Rings' current hit single, "I'm Just Me," marks a bold artistic step forward for the Canadian alt-pop crooner. The song introduces a bigger, more polished sound (courtesy of GRAMMY-nominated producer Damian Taylor) and a dashing visual aesthetic that combines futuristic fashion with proper retro stylings that includes just the right amount of pop.

I saw the singer perform at the Variety Playhouse late last month and was impressed by his energetic live show that showcased his growing confidence as a showman while also highlighting his evolving brand of pop. (Read my entire review of the show on GRAMMY.com.)

Check out an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the "I'm Just Me" music video. Director Jared Raab talks in detail about how the video came about along with candid commentary from Diamond Rings' entire creative team, including designer Charles Youssef who explains more about the out of this world "origami" inspired fashion Diamond Rings wears in the video. (Pre-order Diamond Rings forthcoming new album "Free Dimensional" on iTunes now. Also, make sure to catch him on tour this season.)
