Cherry Cherry Boom Boom Unveils 'One & Only' Lyric Video [Exclusive Premiere]

Cherry Cherry Boom Boom (aka writer/producer/executive Martin Kierszenbaum) is known for taking a very hands-on approach to all of his artistic endeavours and the new DIY lyric video for his new single "One & Only" is a perfect example of that. The video shows the lyrics of the song spelled out with letter magnets on a refrigerator door in a playful stop-animation-style production. The footage also includes a few fun references to sights and sounds that will ring familiar to people that know Kierszenbaum's work (and travel schedule). Make sure to sing and da-da along, and watch the video all the way to the very last second for a sweet surprise.

"One & Only" comes hot on the heels of Cherry Cherry Boom Boom's terrific cover of The Magnetic Fields' "Come Back From San Francisco" that charted on the Billboard Dance/Club Song Chart late summer. This single is off to a very strong start as well and hit #1 on The Hype Machine chart after I premiered it mid-September with a review of the song. "One & Only" was written and produced by Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, engineered by Tony Ugval, and mixed by GRAMMY winner Robert Orton.

My review concluded, "One & Only" once again shows off Cherry Cherry Boom Boom's knack for crafting high-grade pop. The song is an upbeat and happy-go-lucky declaration of love that may invoke a few butterflies of your own. "I love pop music and I think one of the reasons I love pop is because it's influenced by every genre of music," Kierszenbaum explained to me earlier. "I just love good music. I can get off on a Gamelon piece, hip hop record, sonata or a Merengue song if they're moving. I like to express myself musically in all kinds of ways but one of my favorites is via pop music for sure."
