[VIDEO] Andreas Moe Performs 'When She Was Mine' (Lawson Cover)

Hot on the heels of performing his new single "Collecting Sunlight" out in the park, Swedish pop crooner Andreas Moe now sits out on his Stockholm balcony to perform an acoustic version of Lawson's most recent U.K. single, "When She Was Mine." Moe serves up a poignant, pop-savvy slice of heartfelt balladry that stays true to the very personal experience that originally inspired the song.

Lawson's lead singer Andy Brown wrote "When She Was Mine" after finding out that his ex-girlfriend had a new boyfriend that stirred a flurry of emotions and heartbreak. Some have rumored that the song is about Andy's alleged ex-girlfriend Mollie Brown from The Saturdays, but his emotionally-honest storytelling is not exclusive to any particular situation.

Lyrics like, "I'm breaking at the seams, dropping to my knees and nothing left of me," are sure to hit a nerve with members of the broken heart club everywhere, which makes this song even more powerful and timeless. The song's beautiful melody and meaningful undertones are a perfect fit for Andreas Moe who once again proves in this video that Swedes have a knack for serving up melancholic sentiment in the most touching way.
