Private Teases New Single 'Everywhere' featuring Genasis [First Listen]
Here's something new, something very pop and something totally promising. Pop aficionados among you will most certainly remember Danish pop trio Private who topped the charts in Europe back in 2007 with deliciously saucy synth pop tracks like "My Secret Lover" and "We Got Some Breaking Up To Do." Now, after a five year break from the pop scene, lead man Thomas Troelsen is ready to blow some new life into Private with a brand-new single that he will unveil in its entirety very soon. But until then, he is sharing a snippet from "Everywhere" (featuring rapper Genasis) to give pop fans a taste of the pop brilliance he's about to unleash up on them. Judging from this snippet, it sure sounds like Private's sound has evolved and even incorporates a hip hop/rap moment. But 30 seconds into the teaser, "Everyhwere" kicks into a massively sparkly chorus that is nothing less than pure glory. It's pop dynamite of the most explosive kind. Private "Everywhere" will be released in a digital music store near you on August 27.
