[VIDEO] Watch Eva Simons Perform "I Don't Like You" (Acoustic Version)
After first popping onto the music scene with "Silly Boy" in 2009, Eva Simons celebrated her big breakthrough together with Afrojack on the global dance-pop smash "Take Over Control." Since then, the Dutch pop star has continued writing and recording music, and playing gigs all over the world. She's currently a featured guest on the Sorry For Party Rocking/Cherrytree Records tour in the U.S. alongside LMFAO, Far East Movement, Matthew Koma and fellow Hollander DJ Sidney Samson. Plus, she's featured on Will.i.am's massive new hit tune, "This Is Love."
She took a quick break from her U.S tour this weekend to perform at BBC's Hackney Weekend in London together with Will.i.am. After that live show, she jetted straight back to New York City on Sunday to play for an adoring crowd at the annual Pier Dance for NYC Gay Pride. Unstoppable, tireless and genuinly nice, Simons is ready to take over the pop world and there's a whole lot more musical goodness coming soon. I spent some time with Simons last week in Atlanta and she's enjoying every single second of her globe-trotting, chart-climbing experience.
Check out an exclusive acoustic performance of Simons' current hit single "I Don't Like You" that is flying up the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. It's a fantastic, toned-down performance of the explosive original that perfectly spotlights Simons' impressive vocals and inspired delivery. The original version of "I Don't Like You" was produced by German DJ Zedd who is currently celebrating a Beatport #1 with "Spectrum" that features Simons' labelmate Matthew Koma.
