I'm out in Los Angeles this week to cover the annual Musexpo conference at the W Hollywood Hotel. Musexpo is a large annual gathering of music industry professionals to discuss topics and trends impacting the music industry. I was a speaker at the Worldwide Radio Summit on Saturday (that preceded Musexpo) to discuss music, blogging and social media.

Musexpo is a three day event that features presenters and panels during the day, and music showcases at night. Panel topics include Music In Gaming, The Global State of Independents, The Future of Artist Development and Connecting with Fans in the Digital World. Speakers include top executives and tastemakers from all major labels, plus key music folks from the field of entertainment, media and gaming. It should be a very good week with some great new insights.

I plan on bringing you some of the information shared at the event, while also reviewing some of the new music that is showcased here. For real-time updates, make sure to tune in to Twitter.
