It's time to get your weekend started early with Alex Metric's floor-banging remix of Maximum Balloon's jammin'  "Groove Me" that features rhymes from stylish rap wordsmith Theophilius London.

Maximum Balloon is a project of TV On The Radio's David Andrew Sitek who has been moonlighting as a producer over the years, and took the opportunity to put out some little dance jives now that TV On The Radio is taking some time off.

Not quite a solo album and not quite a side-project, Maximum Balloon shows off Sitek's collaborative production skills with different singers he calls, "his favorite voices in the world." "It might be cheating to say it's a pure solo album," Sitek explains in a press release. "These songs are tunes I had created in the process of producing other people's albums, and they were just too far out for the specific records I had been cast to do. So I kept them around and figured I should put them out under one blanket thing."

For his Maximum Balloon album, Sitek recorded songs with Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Theophilus London, Katrina Ford, Holly Miranda, legendary Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, and TV On The Radio bandmates Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone.
