Free MP3 Download: Marina & The Diamonds "Hollywood" (Mr Fogg remix)
The U.S. better get ready for the new pop sensation that is Marina & The Diamonds.
Bloggers and tastemakers have been on to this raging new British talent ever since "Obsessions" hit the mighty internets over a year and half ago. Marina's focus over the next few months is all about Europe, but she will come to the U.S. in the next couple of weeks to play a few showcases and promote her debut LP, "The Family Jewels." That record will be available digitally in the States on March 23 and in stores on May 25.
Marina will return to the U.S this summer to join the line up of 2010's Lilith Tour, joining a remarkable line-up that includes Sarah MacLachlan, Norah Jones, Mary J. Blige, Loretta Lynn, Tegan & Sara, Janelle Monáe, Colbie Caillat and many others. Full tour details will be unveiled shortly. Exciting stuff.
Emerging British electro-pop artist Mr Fogg who I recently interviewed from Los Angeles was so inspired by Marina & The Hollywood's "Hollywood" that he put together an impressive revamp of the track. It is breathtaking.
