Free MP3 Download: Tigercity "Ancient Lover" (French Horn Rebellion Remix)
Ever since they released their critically-acclaimed EP "Pretend Not To Love" back in 2007, Brooklyn's pop-rock outfit Tigercity has gained lots of street cred by mixing and mashing light rock tunes with traditional pop sensibilities. Think Hall and Oates, Prince and a few Yacht rockers.
They are currently on tour with French Horn Rebellion who have remixed Tigercity's "Ancient Lover." The remix progresses from a thick atmospheric piece to a slinky electro-pop workout with a bouncy bassline and catchy synth riff that balance perfectly with Bill Gillim's vocals. Highly recommended.
