Whoa! Del Marquis brings on the funk!
Check out a totally guilt-free download of "Any Kind Of Love," a track taken from his solo effort, "Litter To Society." The album is a solo project Marquis has develop while on hiatus as the guitarist of Scissor Sisters (Where are they?). "Litter To Society" is part of a larger musical and multimedia project that includes EPs and a series of videos with a visual narrative that complements the music.
The 9-track "Litter To Society" is described as "the most intense thematic release of the series." It is an "experimentation in blending emotional themes and a forward-thinking vision with a classic synth-soul-pop palette that recalls pioneers of the sound such as The Human League and Tears for Fears merging with more experimental instrumentals." Some of the Deltoids (Del's official fan club) had the opportunity to listen to Any Kind of Love when it was only a demo. It was great then, but the polished version is superb. Del Marquis may very well be the most under-appreciated talent on the music scene today. But don't take my word for it, just download and listen for yourself!

Indeed, the demo stuff was great but the new songs are fantastic :)
The scissor sisters are working on their 3rd album, btw. :)
