GRAMMYs 2009 Update: Janelle Monae at Mondrian Hotel (Video)
Just one more Monae thing today.
Before walking the GRAMMY Red Carpet on Sunday, Janelle Monae played an intimate poolside show at The Mondrian hotel. Check out this video of "Violet Stars/Happy Hunting" that was the first song she performed. If you're new to Monae live, you must watch this. Monae shows are an experience.
Catch Monae jump in the pool around the 3:40 minute mark, followed by a climb up the tree. Such a riot.

Man, Janelle Monae is just the best thing to happen to music. Gosh her energy!
I've seen her perform a few times but she showed her ass in this performance!
