Free Download: The Japanese Popstars "Electronic Poet"

The Japanese Popstars' band name is totally deceiving. These three lads are not Japanese and they don't produce pop music. Instead, The Japanese Popstars are from Northern Ireland and make dance music of the finest kind. It is reminiscent of the music that the Chemical Brothers, Underworld and The Orbital produced. Intense and precise. It's that type of racous dance music that is made for festivals and stadiums.

After releasing their debut record "We Just Are" last year, DJ Magazine recently awarded the group with the coveted "Best Breakthrough Producers" and "Best Artist Album" awards for 2008. Not too shabby. As a result, Columbia Records invited The Japanese Popstars to create a remix of Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy" for digital release. So look out for that.
