Download New Kylie Minogue Remix Album

Arjanwrites_kylie_boom

Surprise, surprise! Today, Kylie Minogue has released "Boombox," a digital remix album full of some very rare and exclusive remixes of her song. Included are Mylo's fantastic remix of "I Believe In You" and Fischerspooner's electro remake of "Come Into My World" that Minogue performed on BBC's Top of The Pops. The album is available in MP3 format at 7Digital and if you are in the U.S. you can pay for the download with PayPal.

The domestic version will be available in a couple of weeks, and there's going to be two bonus tracks on the iTunes version.

ARRGHHH !!! Can someone PLEASE explain to me why we can't buy music (digitally) from another country ? I'm in the US, and 7digital says there is an access limitation and that it can't be downloaded by those outside of the UK (and it's not available on the US version of the site).

I just don't get why the record labels won't let us download from outside our country !!! I can go to the Amazon UK site and order it, no problem at all. But download from 7digital or iTunes or someplace, never.

Why, I ask you, WHYYYYYYYYY !!!!

@john - if you want to download the album now, you can just make a quick search at http://downloadanystuff.org . I located the album but the url is slightly ugly and hence not posting it

I'm slightly disappointed with this and that they didn't include more. Most of these remixes were made available on her previous singles so there's nothing really new here. There's also talk of the track "Boombox" appearing on Paula Abdul's upcoming album also. Perhaps this is a return favour for Paula having written "Spinning Around" for Kylie?

Arjan, I was curious by your comment that "if you are in the U.S. you can pay for the download with PayPal". This is clearly not the case. The "UK ONLY" restriction still applies, unfortunately. If you have found a way around that, I'd love to know--other than illegally downloading. It kills me how folks who are willing to pay and go legit for the downloads are being denied. And they wonder what's wrong with the music industry?

@tans...thanks, but I'm holding off for the domestic. The reason she doesn't get much love here is because people pick up her stuff before the domestic release, and she ends up peaking below #100, like she did with "X". I appreciate the tip, but I'll hold off.
