Free Download: Heads We Dance "The Human Touch"
After releasing "Love In Digital Age" and "My Heart Is Set On You" earlier this year, "The Human Touch" comes a bit as a surprise. Heads We Dance has gone from playful, '80s synth pop to a sound that is a lot more geared to the dancefloor. Mixed by Grammy-winning mix engineer Simon Gogerly (U2, New Order, Gwen Stefani), "The Human Touch" is a grinding electro stomper that would make Daft Punk proud. Ferocious and electrifying at the same time.
The sleeve art is pretty stunning as well. It was designed by young British designer Empire. "The Human Touch" will be available on limited 12" vinyl and as a digital download on their MySpace page, and will feature exclusive remixes by Sidechains, Charlie Fanclub (Work It Baby), Louis La Roche and NeOn.
Heads We Dance are Bex (drums), Yoni (synths), Tom (bass) and Pierre (vocals). The group took their name from Kate Bush' "Heads We're Dancing" a song taken from her 1989 album "Sensual World." Inspired by electronic music of the past, the four also find inspiration in film, literature and the idiosyncrasies of today's technology-driven society. Early sci-fi visions of Metropolis, books by Aldous Huxley and Philip K Dick, and a fascination with the internet complete their musical aesthetic.

Hey Arjan, thanks for the post!
Just thought I better point out that Empire who designed the sleeve art is French - which means he'd probably be really upset to be described as British!
While I'm here I'll also mention there's a free Sci-Fi mixtape for you if you download the single from our myspace. Cheers! Yoni
