Watch Roisin Murphy at LowLands Festival

Check out a live recording of Roisin Murphy performing a fantastic extended version of "Tell Everybody" at LowLands Festival this past weekend in The Netherlands. She had the crowd at her feet. "It must be the weed," she jokes at the end of the song.

"Tell Everybody" is taken from the singer's "Overpowered" album and was written by Murphy together with Timbaland collaborator Jimmy Douglas (Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliot) and Ill factor last summer in Miami.

Her gig at LowLands is one of Murphy's final European festival appearances. Next month, she will taking off from music for a few weeks. "(. . .) September is fashion month all over the world," she told me recently in an interview. "I am going to go and do some fashion things, stop thinking about music for a while, start thinking about dresses and hats again."

Expect more from Murphy in October when her song "Movie Star" will be featured in a global Gucci fragrance commercial in conjunction with the release of a live DVD and a promotional blitz in the United States.

I am simply floored, yet again in an endless streams of knockouts from that creature.

First verse twice, yet again. Accident or Incident?

Let Me Know had me stumped for precedent till I re-heard Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime by the Korgi's: check it out. No Weed just pure inspiration.

This woman has more genius surrounding her than her fans will ever know.

Sorry Arjan for littering your pages today, she does that to me.

Peace out.
