Free Download: Buffetlibre "Rewind" ('80s Cover Project)

"Rewind" is the '80s cover project by Buffetlibre, a Spanish website "dedicated to the promotion of pop and electronic music in legal mp3 format," according to a press release. This new "Rewind" digital album is intended as a "unique tribute to one of golden ages of music history." I couldn't agree more.

Dragonette, Electric Soft Parade, Levy, Saint Bernadette, Hello Tokyo, The Cloud Room and many other artists all contributed tracks to the release by recording some of their favorite '80s tunes. They were assisted by a select group of hip and happening producers like Frankmusik, Anoraak, Trash Yourself, RAC, Xinobi and Moulinex who all volunteered their time for the love of the '80s.

Songs covered for the project include Aha's "Take On Me" (RAC ft. Karl Kling), Pet Shop Boys' "Jealousy" (Electric Soft Parade), Madonna's "Into The Groove" (Sidechains) and ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man" (Dragonette).
