Ella Chi is an artist you need to keep your eye and ear on.

The British singer recently got signed to London-based Bluechip Records and is currently recording her debut album with producer Jake Carter. Inspired by artists like Basement Jaxx, Amy Winehouse and Erykah Bahdu, Chi bring a fresh new voice to the scene. It's soulful, yet playful and fun. In fact, her vocals remind me a little bit of Robyn. Check out a demo version of "Off Your Thrown." Obviously, this is an unfinished track that needs some more work, but the basics are there: a strong voice and spunky attitude.
