Roisin Murphy's Message to Fans
There's always something good in something bad.
Unfortunately, Roisin Murphy''s fantastic new single "You Know Me Better" failed to crack the British top 40. So disappointing. So wrong. The singer unexpectedly posted a very candId message for fans on her web site forum to address their disappointment:
"Hey guys, Just wanted to drop you a line to say I will never let you down. Have so much buzzing around my head right now, I know things might have been better for the single, all down to radio in my own country I’m afraid and that effects everything. Yet still, I feel strangely inspired. Gonna start writing immanently and I really feel I will do my best work yet. Look I’ve never been easy to categorise and category makes this industry go round. But I am seeping in bit by bit, I have some exciting things goin on in the background that I can’t share right now but believe me I aint out of the game yet. Keep up your support, as it means so much and try to be positive. I never had friends in high places, but I have you, and you have me. Until the end."
Murphy's next single will be "Movie Star," which she calls one of the most commercial singles she has ever made. Look out for that and in the meantime you must sign this petition to get Roisin to North America.

Movie star is a stonker of a single. Should have been the lead single from the album.

Shame she didn't chart higher, as this is one of the finest songs she's ever recorded. Well, there is "Off and On," but...
That being said, I highly look forward to "Movie Star."

It´s such a pitty artist like Roisin not be recognize as one of the craking ass artist of this century. Since the Moloko times up to Overpowered (an excelent piece of sounds) I WILL KILL TO SEE HER IN ARGENTINA, where I´m from. I can´t belive that i have to sign a petition to get Roisin to North America. IT´S SUCH A SHAME...

It's been a while since I've come across an album as brilliant as 'Overpowered'! It makes me happy and sad. It makes me dream and it makes me wanna dance. Well done Roisin. You have a fan for live. Keep up the great work!
I wish you could come to South Africa to perform. I live in Johannesburg, but I will fly to Cape Town if you choose the Mother City instead. You have many fans here and I'm still converting a lot of people who just love your music!

PS: I just love 'Dear Miami' and think it should be released as a single. It carries a strong message about global warming beautifully. Something much needed in these times we are living in and no artist has yet to capture this huge problem the way that Roisin has! Thanks and well done!

I can be more Agree with Ruan Smith, Dear miami is an amazing song! Love it! Primitive is also one of my favorites singles, so dark but so charming!
